It was the case the last time I looked into it. A combination of Ebay, over printing cards in the 90s, and everyone in our generation holding on to every card they had.
If they're anything like baseball cards they're barely worth the paper they're printed on, unless you've got something super rare or old. The market completely collapsed after the 90s.
Tell that to the locals just graduating college that grew up here.
I got incredibly lucky in that I was able to buy a house at the bottom of the market in 2011, and even then I had to buy 30 miles out of town. Had I drug my feet and kept renting, I would've had to leave long ago. Time and time...
Those are some awesome pictures.
That country is incredible. It's kicked my ass more than any other I've been in. I wish I had the time and ego to learn it better. You've obviously put a TON of work in to get those animals.
I have the same gun, and the issue I ran into with the Lows was the bolt coming in contact with the eyebox, rather than barrel clearance. Going to mediums will definitely take care of the barrel issue, but keep the bolt throw in mind.
My dad had an old pair of Diamondbacks that he sent in for a new eyecup. They sent him the current version of the Diamondbacks back, and I was impressed. Especially for what you can pick them up for.
I think I'd put them right up with the Maven C3 Leupold BX3 I owned.
And I am definitely not...
I poured gas all over my Sitka Timberline pants on a hunt this year. I probably wear those pants 80+ days a year, and was really bummed when I tried multiple ways to get the gas smell out. I bet I washed them ten times with different cleaners.
What finally worked was hanging them outside in...
Coming down to the wire, folks.
Doesn't have to be an essay, in fact, after seeing how FWP lumps comments I now submit very short, and to the point comments.
FWP makes the process stupid simple with their online comment submittal tool-...
That deer does not match his background at all. Looks more like a NW MT or ID panhandle deer. Is it likely that he migrated to this from some dark timber somewhere? Gorgeous buck.
I've only scored two mule deer that I've killed. The first one made me realize just how true tjones' quote above...
It's not my fault you don't drink coffee like the rest of the civilized world. I feel like we're taunting the camping gods and I need to double up to make up for you.
I've got almost the exact same story. My girlfriend gifted me mine almost 20 years ago and it's been bouncing around the back of my rig since. Never even cleaned it and it still works like brand new.
Like has been said multiple times already, there are a large contingent of folks who do buy tags, and look for loopholes exactly like this.
I don't have to imagine, because I know dozens of them. I grew up with them. I work with them still. They are incredibly hard to catch because they do...
