CO legal muzzy projectiles

Talk to me about TN (Knoxville/Maryville area)
My dads family is from SE TN. Knoxville is a big town with all the associated problems, traffic, crime etc. Maryville is better, but growing fast. Hunting is good but gets better as you go west.- FLS

shortest shot on a big game animal?
I killed a big boar with a spear and it was one of the fastest kills Ive ever witnessed. I’ve killed several with a revolvers at 2-3 feet. We were using catch / bay dogs in very thick cover here in SC and down in FL. Caught several that were pen fed and butchered later. A couple of turkey kills... -

New light weight sleeping bag??
I’ve got a Marmot Helium. I bought w Wedgie to help with the shoulder room. Nice light bag, kept me warm during first rifle last fall, but I’m an active sleeper and much prefer a semi rectangular bag. A WM Ponderosa is in my future.- FLS

I opened up an HS Precision for a model 7 in 7 SAUM. Sold the rifle but still have the stock. -

AR advice
I’ve had and built a bunch of ARs. 223/556, 6.8 SPC, 6.5 Grendel, 224 Valkyrie, 308. My advice is roll your own. Best short barrel performer was the 6.8 SPC. 95 TTSX and 110 Accubonds worked great on deer and pigs. I built a 6.5 Grendel to shoot some Tactical matches. It was a hammer but I... -

Finally got a chance to shoot the Thor 300s. They shoot well but I switched to a rear peep and the elevation is about maxed out. I’m going to make a shim and shoot them some more but so far so good. Reading Glasses and Scopes

Changing rifles because of excess recoil.
An 15 lb 6.5 Creedmoor with a brake has made me a recoil wimp. . 270 is my BIG rifle now. 25-06 is even better. -

Accuracy advantages of lead free bullets?
I was. Monos drawbacks are cost and weight/ BC. Their plus is increased penetration. I don’t believe they are more accurate.- FLS

Serious competitive shooters are using exponentially more bullets than even an avid hunter will. They spend more in components in a year than most hunters will in a lifetime. How many hunters do you know shooting out multiple barrels a year?- FLS
