I just received an email asking me to take a harvest success survey. I recall that one of the criticisms of the CPW is that they do a bad job a calculating hunter success. Maybe they're implementing a new electronic way to resolve that?
Hey guys, I officially never gave an ending to this thread. I'm sorry about that- been extremely busy since I got home.
Anyways, so I hunted high and low for the first 4 days without finding a buck on public. Lots of does and lots of hunters. On the last morning I went to a spot that many of...
You should have a "scouting period" starting 2 days prior to the first day of the hunt. From the scouting period until the last day of the hunt you are allow to have tripods, stands, blinds etc. set out as long as your contact info is on there and such.

Get you a tripod and a rolling game cart. The area is extremely flat, and with low brush scrub, the animals tend to walk with their heads near the ground to watch for predators. Get 8 feet up in a tripod in some brush and they will never see you. Find a well used trail or better yet an...
Well guys I got the truck mostly loaded and ready to go for when the end of the work day comes!

My next order of business is packing food and all my essentials. In case I tag out early, or...
My GF's family farm the sliver of land in between homestead and the Everglades and have a hayday shooting iguanas when they get bored. Apparently there's a commercial market for them, selling for roughly 50 bucks a pound.

Therefore if the beginning...
