Reintroduction of grizzlys in Selway-Bitterroot Idaho/Montana
While there is some quality of griz habitat (far less salmon now) in the SB Wilderness, the Bitterroot side canyons have a high conflict potential with people.....very steep and the Forest service people/stock trails will attract both people and bears. Montana Block Management Stamp?
Have suggested such a stamp for years.....BMAs are important for pheasnt hunters as well as big game hunters. It is a "user pay" concept so if you dont choose to use it, the stamp doesnt cost you.
