I've only had two pairs of leaking gore-tex boots in the last 15 years and both were upland hunters going on a third year and had several hundred hard, hard miles on them. I always wear merino socks and have decent insoles. I get a little slack about cleaning the outsides which in both cases...
The Rogan podcast I referred to is #657. It is worth a listen it talks about hunting in Africa and ways to improve conservation through hunting. As well as how Knowlton and his family were treated by antis on the Internet.
What always blows my mind with these stories is all the online bullying and out right death threats from people who supposedly can't stand the violence of hunting.
Joe Rogan had Corey Knowlton on his podcast and discussed a very similar issue. Knowlton's auctioned hunt of a Black Rhino. While I found him kind of whiney on uncharted head several great points about management of game during the discussion as well as his reaction to internet vigilantes. All...
LopeHunter you are absolutely wrong.
The optics will not reach an elevation above 8000 feet more likely not above 6000. Chances are they will be subject to higher pressures while you are on the mountain and not inside the controlled pressure capsule of an airplane. Do not worry unless you have...
The higher elevation is around the impact zones in the middle and on the north end of the post. The space between the north and south impact zones tends to see the least human traffic and on occasion I used to see deer out in the impact areas. There are fairly accurate topo maps out there for...
Nothing in camo, but Eddie Bauer has tall sizes in its upland line and some muted colors in its first ascent stuff. I believe outdoor research has also started to offer parts of its line in sage and coyote colors under its tactical line, they may have some tall sizes as well. Good luck.
Just take all but one pair of flats, one pair of heals, one pair of slippers and one pair of workout shoes from her and tell her that is all she needs, if one of each is good enough for you it's good enough for her.
It does SVC Battery as I recall. I moved to Madison as a junior actually graduated from LQPV did 8 years in Monte before doing my last year attached to the AVN Brigade. Got out then did one more year in '05 at Ripley and Anoka.
I am generally a warm sleeper and for me not using a full length pad is not an option. It may work in the summer months but if the weather has been cold at night the ground can be cold and it sucks the heat right out of my feet leaving me cold by morning.
Very nice, my old guard unit had one of the cannons given to the 1st Minnesota. They were not allowed to take any of the cannons to war as the 1st was mustered as an infantry unit. I like the piece you've collected.
I remember the first time I tried smoking. I was about 7 or 8 and we found where the neighbor kid had been lighting off firecrackers. We found some duds and unrolled them to dump the powder out, we were crazy not stupid, and started puffing away.
Not a good flavor from those black cats, but...
