    Lots of variety in terrain depending on what unit you draw. There are 30 units and quite a few can be drawn with 0 non res points. Desert units in the south can be dependent on water while high elevation units in the central and north are not for example.

    Backpack Tent

    I've used the non HV version in utah, Wyoming and Alaska. It will hold up to most snow but if it is heavy and weight you'll need to shake it off a couple times a night. I would strongly suggest the 2 man. That's what I have and it's still cozy in my opinion.

    The Preferred Puffy

    Puffy pants are awesome! I have the sitka ones. There are several brands offering them, both hunting and non. I only take them on late season hunts but if you plan on glassing they are worth carrying for sure.
