Marcus…
always liked that name so we gave it to our second son. Just a cool, strong, name and my son lives up to it with powerlifting being his primary hobby.
That will be an issue with any canvas tent. I do same as Cush, simply set it up when you get home and allow it to completely dry out before packing it for storage.
I also use a Kodiak 10X14 flexbow tent and have camped in it with temps as low as -20 with ridiculous winds. Held up just fine. I use a buddy heater with the extension hose that's hooked up to a 20lb propane tank outside the tent. Keeps the tent nice and toasty. The only caveat for you is that 4...
Very sorry to hear and I hope you have a speedy recovery.
I had it almost 20 years ago when I was 30. We had just placed our first son in daycare and of course he was catching all kinds of bugs there. Low and behold, I got sick too and somehow it progressed to pneumonia for me.

Jeez, that’s crazy. I thought we were bad here in NJ where we have 6 months of deer hunting, with unlimited does in many zones, which I believe is way too much. Hope this stupid idea doesn’t gain traction!

There was legislation introduced in the Senate earlier this year to do away with this nonsense. Support for it was absolute and bipartisan yet it still stalled in the house and went no where.
Literally nothing gets full bipartisan support ever and even with that the gov can’t get things done…
No complaints on my gear, but what I should have brought and didn’t was sunscreen…
Was a successful hunt, but certainly the hottest and sunniest October western hunt I ever experienced. Actually got a bit of sunburn on my arms and face. Wasn’t planning on beach weather!
2022 Wyoming general elk. Got there 3 days early to find the elk before opening day and ended up tagging out 20 minutes into the opener. Overall a great hunt even though the weather was like summertime.
Always. Never had to use it, but it’s nice to know that it’s there in case something happens to the primary rifle.
The backup rifle is like an insurance policy for the hunt, just like the 2 spare tires that I lug along on out of state hunts.
