Great to chat with fellow shooters, my recent new rifle is a Winchester extreme SS 300 wsm. Bought it to replace my Ruger sporter 338 wm. But I think that the Ruger has less recoil although I am shooting reloads with 78 grs o f RL19,225 gr bullet. My load for the 300 is 67 grs of IMR 4831,178...- Deputy sheriff
