The 3rd day had a big boy coming in South of 300 great fronts n 4th but not big on back but real nice came to 70 yrds and I felt the wind change and on the back of my neck and he exploded out of the area Went up high to glass watched a few elk , figured to let em go to bed and wait them out... -

Worked another bull later that day but couldn't close the distance much past 100 yrds -

Road up high 1st morning got off the horses hiked about 200 yrds and called had a 5 point come in to 50 yrds walked in front of me for about 30 minutes but I didn't have a good shot so he lost interest and walked away -

I never hunted moose but on last yrs Colorado elk hunt had a bull at 12 feet was wishing I had a tag for sure- dgc1963

Woke up to 54 degrees this morning hitting trail to get a hike in at 5400 ft before going in tomorrow Love being back in Idaho I have to say it's probably my favorite western state due to great friendships made over 25 yrs and the great hunts I've had even ones that I didn't fill my tag -

Guess I am an odd duck.
So let me get this right you pull the tags ? your place to hunt cabin food and they just show up but a cow isnt good enough Let them get their own tags and find a place to hunt and call you Other than that drop them fast lol I have friends that always want to go bear hunting with me I run cams...- dgc1963

Not to obscure but I picked up a 17 fireball its a centerfire 17 cart. was looking for a good predator gun here in Pa for yrs we hunted mostly fox and a few yotes didnt want to mess up the fox now yotes are everywhere I love it have taken yotes out to 300 yrds 20 grain ball around 4000 fps...- dgc1963
