A Family’s First Western Exposure
I was fortunate enough to fall in love with the west before I was married. I then moved west and found a wife there. Made it easy for me to stay in the Rockies for over 25 years now! Attractions in Wyoming/SD
Badlands National Park is just a few miles off I-90 in South Dakota and well worth a drive-through. There is also a lot of things to do in the Black Hills - just check out the billboards on the way through. -

Colorado OTC unit 22 & 211
Regarding the BLM land, you are incorrect in your assumption that you can't camp on it. It is open to public use such as camping, hiking, and hunting just like the NF land, so feel free to camp on it. Regarding the hunting units, I have no experience with 22 but I have successfully found elk... -
Favorite modern western movies or series?
I recommend The Hateful 8. I really appreciate the acting in the long dialogue segments early in the movie. Warning - Very Violent.- FamilyMan
