Calling Idaho Wolves???
Maybe one of those Montana Decoy Coyotes along with the howler...so they can see the coyote...even one of those electronic things with the tail that swirls around if that's legal will get them riled up. ...if there is sign. Are decoys like that legals for wolves, or just the electronic calls?- idahofishnhunt

Ballistic tip /SST ?
I use the 140gn Accubonds for hunting loads, but for practice I use the 140gn BT's..as their ballistics are pretty much the same. Cheaper shooting the BT's.- idahofishnhunt

Montana vs Idaho
We'll take your money, and your probably right. There are a lot of success stories on here out of Montana...but there is also a big base of Montana people on here compared to Idaho. So don't let that sway you, you'll find a good bull in either spot IMO. Use the extra money to buy a deer tag too.- idahofishnhunt

Probably makes more sense for the whitetails at this point...didn't know what zone you were hunting, or if you had gone elk hunting this year. Is there no late muzzleloader hunt for the elk zone you hunted...or did not hunt elk this year? Check the units, some Idaho zones have their Muzzleloader hunts in December...on the Archery Tag. Just a thought.- idahofishnhunt
