    Arizona - Worth the wait/cost?

Regarding if you were just getting points. Do you have to apply for the point only option during the time of the application species for that animal...or can it be done later like WY?

Canvas Tent Heat Without Local Firewood

Get a stove that does pellet and wood, pellets will let you sleep all night without adding more to it during the night too...and you still get the dry heat. Not like with propane and the moisture...that just plain sucks.

    Idaho Spring Black Bear hunt

North Idaho is a good choice if your looking for success, more density. Thicker...but find some open faces to glass. They should be out and moving a lot during the spring.

    Wyoming Unit 57 Type 2

So according to the info I found WY added a 2nd hunt to Unit 57 last year, and with 7 points I might be able to draw it. But the Type 2 description is as follows: "Any antelope valid west of Sweetwater County Road 23S and B.L.M. Road 3310, and north and east of B.L.M. Roads 4411 and 4409."...

    2018-19 Waterfowl Season

You've probably seen some of these on my hunting partners post, but who doesn't like looking at waterfowl pictures? We still have a few more weeks here in Idaho to get some hunts in, so hopefully the success continues.

Hanging goose. To gut or not to gut?

I usually let mine sit for 5 days...if it's really cold I've let them sit 10 days. Doesn't hurt anything. No reason to gut them when they sit.

Wyoming Applicant Totals at Each Point Level

I like the bar graph they will put out in their strategy article that shows how many people there are with how many points.

    Kimber rifle

The 7mm-08 with a 140gr Accubond will fit your needs for sure. I was using that combo well before Randy made it popular.

    weiser river archery elk plan

Elk are plentiful in 32A, stay up in the higher elevations, and cooler north facing drainage's and you will find them no problem. Just don't worry about buying a deer tag in that unit. Most folks don't get too far from the road or their hunting camp areas from what I've seen up there. So...

    Bear Huntress Needs Some Votes

They are running a contest over on YCBHA for bear hunting photos. My daughter Taylor has her's up. If you get a chance it would really help her out if you could go give her a vote...and if you have a picture you should upload it as well, it's a great contest. The more pictures the better IMO...
