    Tripod Advice

    Had an epiphany this morning, and tried it..and am getting the proper panning motion on my PH-113V, so I think I'm golden, just going to pick up another Slik Pro tripod for it, and put a ball head on my other one for my daughter to use for her binos. Both setups will be under 3-lbs with the heads.

    I agree...Wyoming is probably as far as I'll go for buying points. I guess if you have the coin to just keep dumping into it, then go for it. Or if your in a state where hunting is good...save your money and go buy a second tag and support your own state. These other states are really hauling...

    I did get one, and just ended up taking the head that came with it, and got a Slik ballhead to use on it for the bino adapter.

    I have that combo as well, works great. I have OnXMaps on my phone and GPS...but your right the GPS is built a lot more sturdy, and even though the batteries might drain quicker...which probably isn't true either, the phone drains quickly. The fact is though...if I drop my GPS or bang it...

    Weird...had this ad come up to me on the internet so I checked it out. I didn't realize there was competition with OnXMaps. All my stuff is with OnXMaps already so I'm sure I won't switch, but this company must have just started or something. They even have a somewhat similar logo.
