We've hunted pretty hard this year in NC trying to get my 9 year old a Turkey this year. Walked 4-5 miles every Saturday and he stuck right with me on some pretty rough hikes. He has killed 2 birds on the last 2 opening days. Yesterday was a last ditch effort to get it done, as the season came...
Yes back in the 70's. Had one mounted standing on his hind legs. Me and my brother used to pull the hair out of the legs when we were babies 😂. I'll post a couple pics if I can find them. They are classic
Me and a buddy hunted some coastal gamelands a few years back. Thick is an understatement. Only open were long, straight, sand roads. Lots of pressure from dog hunters. I believe there are a couple gamelands in the Hyde county area that dont allow dogs....I could be wrong. Probably better luck...
Forgive me if this has been asked (I'm sure it has) but are there any plans to offer a 3D viewing function like google earth has? I find my self constantly switching screens back and forth from OnX to Google Earth while e-scouting
I agree with this. Tons of things you can do, the majority of which just make it look cool. Most factory pistols are more accurate than most people can shoot them. I would suggest ditching the plastic sights for a quality set of steel ones. Either tritium or fiber optic though.
If you choose the special draw you'll be charged the full special price once. Not separately for each of your 3 choices. I believe you now have to buy a preference point separately even if you are unsuccessful in first second or third choice draw.
I've had one like this since I started Turkey hunting 20+ years ago. Mine just developed a hole. I didnt even know they still made them. They work great
So I'm looking at purchasing, or building a cylinder style tent stove to heat a wall tent. I've looked at camp chef and others as well as thought of building my own. What have you guys used and how do you like them?
