    Wyoming success!

Its the 12x20. First time we've used it hunting and it worked flawlessly. We were a little worried about condensation with the propane but it stayed dry as a bone inside.

    Wyoming success!

We were roughly 30 miles west of the fire. Luckily the wind direction kept it at bay for us. It was still noticeable though

    Wyoming success!

These were definitely the best bucks we saw this year. Seemed like there were very few pronghorn on blm. We actually saw a decent amount way up high where the deer were. Kinda funny seeing antelope in the mountains like they were.

    Wyoming success!

I believe its the Mr. Heater 2 burner. Never got below 40 at night so we didn't even have to run them very hard.

    Wyoming success!

Me and a good buddy just got back from Wyoming for our annual western hunt. We both had deer tags and ended up filling both of them! There were definitely bigger deer in the unit but we encountered abnormally hot and dry conditions for October. Overall we had a great trip. Filling both our tags...

    Medicine Bow/Mullen Fire

We're in the same boat. Leaving the woodstove at home. Have a 2 burner Mr. Heater. Should get 2 nights from one 20# bottle. Bringing along 4 - 20# and 1 - 40# cylinder.

Looking for smaller caliber "Ballistic twin"

The .223 may work to move up to a 62gr or a little higher even though velocity will fall off a bit, but bc may be closer

Anyone tried the Hornhunter Full Curl System for a multiday pack?

Thats great customer service. I used one for 3 seasons and sold it for similar reasons. My waist was too thin for the waist belt to fit comfortably. I wish I had contacted them prior to getting rid of it because it was well built and had nice features. Ended up going with a Mystery Ranch which I...

    Wyoming Elk Season Weather

I've started monitoring the weather for our hunt in October, crazy temperature swing in a few days

    Bobcat or Kabota?

I'm gonna go a little against the grain and lean towards a tracked skidsteer. I've had several compact tractors in the 50-60 hp range and while very versatile I almost exclusively use compact track loaders now. When it comes to grading and pushing power its a no-brainer. Also for digging post...

    Wyoming general vs limited entry

Most of the elk I've seen were in the first week October. Still normally hear some bugling then also. Probably would plan on hunting archery during the middle of September and possibly come back for rifle depending

    Wyoming general vs limited entry

I'm thinking my 4 points, even in the special draw won't yield me a tag better than a general
