I live on 2 acres and my neighbor to the east is 20ac or so. The old owner would let people come out and shoot gophers. To the west are five 2 acre plots with houses including mine. There is a slight rise for a "backstop" One day there was a younger person with a scoped rifle out shooting. First...
Mine is at the local dealer. They just had the kiosk there to submit all the paperwork, fingerprints ect. I actually purchased the suppressor through another dealer as the one I wanted (TBAC Ultra 7) wasn't in stock with my dealer or Silencer Shop.
95 days in on my eform 4 suppressor through a local dealer that had the Silencer Shop kiosk. I also did a single shot trust. Still pending.
The rifle I am putting it on just showed up at my door today, would be sweet to get the suppressor this week too!
Received mine as well last week. Tested it out at home. So far so good. I also played around with the Sig app and entered in my 223 load data. It'll spit out the scope correction in mils or MOA. It has quite the variety of bullets to choose from, even a few Hammer bullets in most calibers. I'll...
Was at the local Murdochs today, had a lot of powder behind the counter, H4350, Varget and more. Although, they were at Hodgdon prices upper $40's per pound. Still cheaper than an online purchase, but not by much.
Thanks all for the advice! Leaning towards the Sig at this point, but I didn't really think about the Leica or Maven, will have to look at those as well.
I need to update/upgrade my range finder. I currently have an old Nikon 500, very basic model. It would be used for bow and rifle. Looking for one that is reliable on targets out to 1000 and animals at least 500 and in. Not that I'm shooting that far, more for knowing how much further I need to...
Unknownmunitions and Pendleton Ammunition will load hammers from what I’ve seen. Custom ammo sites so a little spendy. I’ve only ever bought reloading stuff from Unknown so can’t really comment if the ammo is any good for either. Have seen good reviews of Unknown.
Do you have another known scope that you could put on the rifle to test? That would help determine if it was the scope or something else without having to send in.
Was looking for load data on Hodgdon's site. Quite a few powders available, Varget, H4831SC, H4350 and others, but they start at $50/1lb then add in shipping/hazmat, 5 limit.
That's funny, but it has actually worked before, sorta..
