Remington help

What is ammo going for in your areas?
No ammo locally, nor primers or powder. I shoot a 300 yd F Class and am low on CCI 450 primers. Sooooo, I bit it and bought a brick on eBay... instead of a usual $40; I paid $315 including shipping..... ouch! But, I wanna shoot.... -

Gunsmiths don’t use a torque wrench?!

Reducing caliber mixups
I heard on a Meateater podcast that Janis Putrellis was shooting Steve's Rinella's rifle. Steve's gun was a left handed 270 WSM and somehow Janis loaded a 7mm-08 into it. The round chambered and fired, destroying the gun. I think the bullet even hit the target after being squeezed from .284"...- Curvebow

I have a 2018 with the 2.7 Ecoboost and 10 speed tranny. on an elk hunt in 2018, I got 21 MPG to CO & back with 4 guys & gear. I tow a 27 ft Pioneer camper - about 7500 #, goes like a dream! 45-70 bolt action
Cool find! I think I would have brought it home too; just cuz'!!\ My son has a Marlin lever SS in 45-70. There are tame loads; and then there are 400 grain "hot" loads! Once you touch it off, you figure out quick which one it was! :)
