Planning on leaving the tent up for the summer. I got it up pretty early in the season and it already had a couple good snows and held up fine. I think my trap might take a bit of a beating from the high altitude UV but I guess time will tell.

Sounds like you've found a spot that's worth spending some time getting to know. I have an opening morning archery spot where I'm close to 50% success. I don't scout it at all anymore, just slip in early AM on the opener with my climber. LOVE that spot!

You didn't mention budget. I like the unicorn hunt idea if you can swing it. I'm a pretty frugal myself and my dad got a custom knife from a local knife-maker for his retirement. It's still getting plenty of use 10+ years later...
