Stahls meat processors are they way to go. They had my muley done in a few days and everything was packaged/labeled great. Got a bunch of pepperoni sticks and they are awesome.... (I could have gotten the whole deer done in just sticks!). Worth a try!

Looks cool! I was gonna do something similar with reclaimed barn wood on an entire living room wall, then place my muley mount over that..... once i get it back from the taxidermist (hopefully this July). I also REALLY like the state plaque idea!
FYI...... if you applied for PP for different species, the checks are issued separately for each. I have already received my deer PP refund, and If it is anything like last year, I should be seeing my elk PP refund within the next few weeks.
