I as well just saw the episode. Looks like a ton of fun and congrats to all that filled their tags! Its nice to put some faces to the names some of the members here on this great forum!
My best guess is that if BP does buy out Cabelas, they would keep everything as is. Cabelas just broke ground on a new store.... about 10 miles from my house, and there is an existing BP store about 30 miles from me as well. Maybe BP will phase out hunting stuff and just focus on fishing, and...
Sorry if this is posted elsewhere on this forum, but I just came across this YT podcast. It gives quite a bit of useful advice for easterners that want to experience western hunting for the 1st time. It covers quite a bit of topics and much of the info is basic, but I found it a pretty good...
I know posts like these pop up now and again, and I really dont mean to sound like a broken record, with another one about health. People may/may not read this and move on to the next thread......i know.... i've done it myself. Well, I just wanted to remind you guys, once again, to take care of...

I just got back from the local Cabelas store and tried out the Swaro 12x50 el's. All I can say is that they are incredible!!! I took them outside, along with the Leupold GR 12-40 x60 spotter, as I was in the market for either one. The Swaro 12x50 beat out the GR spotter hands down. I know its...
For sure! Even if I dont get anything, its an absolutely incredible experience to be out in Montana country! At minimum..... I'll learn more, and burn a few calories.
I took the safe route.... Me and a buddy drew a NR general deer tag. Hopefully this will be a year I can improve from my current (1st muley) mount. For those who missed out on their tags, just remember good things come to those who wait (or I suppose........ FORCED to wait). See ya out there!
Heres 2 classics..... 1 from the 80's, and a funny one from the 2000's:

Randy, I was hoping to get some 1st hand info about your equipment. From watching your GREAT vids on your YT channel, I see that you use Leupold spotters. Do you have the GR60mm, or GR80mm scope? I cant really tell because of the cover being on. Other than the obvious diffs does the 80mm jump...
