I received the email this morning as well. I was expecting a survey designed to lead the answers in a specific direction because that is what I've seen them do in the past sometimes. I was glad to see it was a preference for each type of survey so I have hopes the results will be statistically...
I use Barnes TTSX in 120 gr for my son's rifle. It has worked very well for mule deer but I would not hesitate to use it on pronghorn. The mule deer he shot this fall was 120 yards broadside and was a double lung full passthrough.
I was there last June. We spent almost the entire trip in the Peloponnese and had a fantastic time. We will go back for sure. We stayed in one Air BnB and took day trips all around. Took random drives through small towns and tried out small restaurants and were met with only cheerful...
Thanks. Couple of clarifications.
- Prior to this we were shooting both the Hornady and Winchester brass with no over pressure.
- The batch of powder was the same.
- Ambient temperature was higher when we had no problems.
- This was the third reloading and over pressure started with the...
I'm trying to understand over pressure signs for a load that I didn't change. I'm loading 120 gr Barnes TTSX bullets for 6.5 CM over 43.5 gr of Accurate 2700. The rifle is a Savage 110 Hunter. I worked up to the load last year for my son to deer hunt with and all seemed just fine. Regular bolt...
Extra key goes in the back zipper pocket of my AGC bino chest pack with my tag. Truth is I could probably just leave them in the truck because my locks are so worn out I'm about the only one in the family that can get the key to turn in the ignition!
Remy 700 BDL 30-06. Only center-fire I've ever owned and still use it. Sounds great but I didn't start hunting until 2015 so it's not that long really :)
I have gone to only using my phone.....until lately my frustration with OnX and tracks, using the phone in bad weather, phone battery life, bright sun situations.....I'm seriously considering upgrading my old Delorme InReach to a Garmin 67i just to get buttons I can operate with gloves on, a...
If you're basing the location off of the air photo that is another source of error. Air photos are georeferenced which introduces a certain amount of error along with any parcel mapping inconsistencies. How the property was surveyed has a lot to do with it as well.
RAZCO as well on my AGC bino pack. It's not perfect but my revolver never falls out and always draws smoothly. Can't ask for more. I went the OWB route first but found the bino pack mount to be cleaner and easier.
