    Can anybody speak on this cartridge, looking at the weatherby Camilla, for my children. I've read that recoil is around 308 win and 270 win.. also is it pushing the bullets fast enough to stabilize the heavier longer monos and 100+ gr bullet, 1-10 twist on the weatherbys... Just asking for...

    I have used winchester brass quite a lot, I did have to run those through the die because they were dinged up a good bit.

    So since I only have full length sizing dies would running it over the expander mandrel but not all the way up into the die be something I should try or just run it all the way up for consistency

    I will second the speer gold-dot my rifle loves them, I tried putting one through a deer a few weeks ago but couldn't find one that day.

    So I picked up 100 brand new pieces of Lapua brass, it is phenomenal brass all the measurements are within 2thou and 2thou is the biggest difference. The case mouths all look great. Is there any reason to run them through a die, I only have full length sizing die.

    Yeah hindsight is 2020 but at least it looks awesome, almost makes me want to use seating dies with windows, which I have for my 6.5 but not the 308

    After I had screwed around with the my lock ring I had turned my die in too far, the next morning I went and used the same everything and turned my die back out and reset it with a piece of brass and everything worked out great 👍

    I was messing with the lock rings so I probably did screw the die in too far and crushed the brass that way, I didn't think of that

    Was making some 308 win for my dad, hornady brass with hornady bullets 150 gr interlock. Everything resized just fine nothing weird, all the measurements are good put some powder in and when I went to seat the bullets it went in partially and stopped. Took the die out and the seating stem out...
