I think they are clueless. It's beyond me why these folks will push for this.

    12 states join Utah

My county here in Nevada sent $50k to the Lands Council for their lawsuit. I am pissed and wish I had paid attention to the agenda leading up to the meeting where they supported it.

Massive Nevada Solar Farm on BLM

All these green projects will result in temporary jobs worked by transient workers. So after the end of the project there will be minimal improvements to the Ely work force.

Will the Great Salt Lake dry up?

Its a slippery slope. I am pretty sure the CIA investigated how they could get water from the Columbia to the Colorado river through NorCal and western Nevada. Time will tell all

Will the Great Salt Lake dry up?

You piss off a lot of Nevadans by putting that pipe line in. Elk, deer, sage grouse, LCT, California Bighorn sheep could all be impacted even following the I-80 corridor would have ridiculous environmental impacts. Im not a proponent of moving water from one place to another, even if its for...

    Private Lands Only Cow Elk

I dont know if the state of Utah pays on elk incurred damages but hunters are a good tool to use to get rid of them. I don't have to hunt private. Im happy to wait and just hunt public lands.

    Private Lands Only Cow Elk

I apply for the draw so i dont care about the license. Also the tag is only $251. Hadnt thought about a landowner fee. Probably i nonstarter for me. If they charge for access they obviously dont care to get the elk off the property

    Private Lands Only Cow Elk

Didnt draw an elk tag this year and wanted to see if some of the Utah Hunt Talkers could help me. Is it worth buying a non-resident private lands only cow tag? There are a handful of options available and wouldnt be against meat in the freezer. Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated!

Good evening, has anyone here read Dick Proennecke's book, "One Man's Wilderness"? I know there is a ton of reviews on amazon but I'd like to see what this community has to say.
