Sorry for the triple post guys. Please delete the other two. Showed it as a problem on my end when I posted the others...I swear, I’ve posted in other forums before 😜
Hey guys, I’m so tired of buying pants that don’t fit. I’m 6’4” and about 170. Try as I may, I can’t put on any weight. I’ve searched high and low for some good hunting pants that would fit a guy like me, but nothing yet. I have the same problem with regular jeans, but if you pony up enough...

Totally looked over the Leftover Drawing Odds page. Thanks for the links! How is it I’ve heard of guys shooting a handful of doe? Was there a change in WY in recent years, or maybe their on private land?
Are they a thing of the past, or should it be fairly easy to get a couple, or does it depend on the unit? I tried researching the WY site but didn’t gather much. Is there a limited number of for tags you can buy as well? I’m planning on trying to draw one but also trying to wrap my head around...
Very cool guys- THANKS!
How about this- from what I gather, pronghorn country looks basically the same just about everywhere. Is there an area or a unit that is really unique/beautiful that is just an awesome place to go hunt pronghorns?
Wow you guys are awesome. Much more info already than I expected! I think we can definitely skip Yellowstone with all of those suggestions. Something I’d stil like to do at some point...maybe when the kids are a little older.
In a thread a few months ago, I mentioned the possibility on taking my young family to Wyoming for a vacation/antelope hunting trip. I’ve got one PP, but I think I’m now leaning towards just getting a couple of doe tags (mainly due to the horror stories I’ve read about the easy-to-draw units and...
Great info guys. I’ve got a list of units piling up in my phone I’ve been saving of “possible units” and “definitely not units”.
Pointingdigsrule- you were on the reltree forum back in the day, weren’t ya?
Threads like this are what deter me from making the trip to a “2nd choice” location. Never having been there before, I’d hate to spend the money, and more importantly the time, to get there and be bombarded by people. I’m not afraid of a little competition, as I hunt public land 95% of the time...
That’s kind of what I have in my mind, but then I hear of guys hunting for a week struggling to find anything “decent” and then shooting a 6” buck....I guess I just don’t want to go to a unit and be like “shoot...not nearly enough animals here to hunt” or “well...I can only access 200 acres in...
Good to know! That’s more of what I’d prefer anyway. It may sound dumb to some, but I want to experience the drainages, the sage, the rocks, native grasses and tracks in the soil. If I wanted to drive around and see animals I’d stay on the pavement.
Just purchased my first WY preference point for pronghorn. Any recommended resources I should check out for a first-time wannabe pronghorn hunter? I’ve read so many threads here it’s mind-boggling. Also have a notes folder on my phone just for pronghorn stuff. I may check out the GoHunt site...
