From what I understand, if they currently cannot complete the background check within 3 days, you get the gun but they STILL continue to investigate you. I'd be fine moving it to 1 week. But at some point, really, this is about moving to a "may issue" system rather than a "shall issue" system...
I remember this episode of Andy Griffith where he takes a date crow hunting. He tells her to cover her ears before shooting. The viewer is supposed to find this condescending since she happens to be a champion shooter, used to the sound of a shotgun, but Andy thinks she's just a dumb fragile...
I know it's controversial, but I have better luck if I brine spoonies. Maybe it's in my head but I gave my wife a blind taste test (in that I didn't tell her it was spoonie 😁) and she approved.
I watch this guy quite a bit, don't know how I missed that. Pretty interesting. Of course, he's trying to rehab some decoys whereas I'm trying to get the paint to last a little longer.
Oh no way. Would definitely not do it to flocked deeks.
I buy cheap deeks with easily chipped paint anyways. Drag them around in a bag everywhere. Just thought might try something to get a little more out of them.
Cleaning and putting away my decoys. Thinking about applying a clearcoat to make the paint last longer. Anyone doing this? Anyone have a preferred method for storage or just shove em in attic?
Initially I asked how long the apply ban would last. Then suggested NM charge people for the late fee when they apply so there isn't an obstacle to getting the survey info. I've never heard of a game and fish agency charging people to give them harvest info. I can't be the only schmuck who...
Yeah I like that they make then mandatory, good for management. But why set up an obstacle to obtaining information? Why not just take the survey info then charge me $8 extra if I go to apply for the draw?
So I'm not planning on applying in NM this year. I forgot to fill out the harvest report for 2020 and now it wants to charge me $8 to do it. If I dont fill it out, may I still apply in 2022?? Thanks!
So apparently there is a prequel in development set in the late 1800s. I think this has potential to be better than the modern show since we, the audience, are far enough removed from that period that we will be less able to sense how unrealistic it is.
Oh ok gotcha. I think I'm pretty round. So that would make sense. Pretty sure the shim kit does allow you to alter the cast so that would be another consideration.
Basically it just comes down to how confident I feel I can make the cheaper gun fit and learn to use it. And how much I want to...
