That's a bummer. Sounds like "willful or malicious" really means "who has the more expensive attorney?" and leaving it in means more juicy court cases to be tried and fees to be made. Thanks, Air Force...
I didn't listen or read the whole link. But isn't there some catch in the ESA where you aren't supposed to "reintroduce" a species where that species is already established? That seemed a point worth emphasizing early in this process but I haven't heard a thing on it lately, especially after...
M&P guy here. I like the 2.0 compact, it's manageable as an EDC even with an RDO. I do like the holsters that Haven Defense makes right here in CO. They're well-built and comfortable.
I found the Glock 43 very easy to EDC but it's so small it's difficult to shoot well. Haven't tried the 43x.
I am Township ignorant. I'm used to cities and counties and nothing else here in CO. I wonder if RS2477 would/could enter into either side. That's been a political football around here used in clawing back public access in a variety of situations. Will get some popcorn and watch how this one...
First, thank you for any landowner who does allow access to public land through their property. I've floated the idea before of taxing landowners who do not allow public access to landlocked parcels that they enjoy exclusive access to. There are many many unintended consequences and a burden of...
Was that section line access the Township's to vacate in the first place? I thought the section line access law prescribed a right-of-way to counties. Elm Springs Township is not Meade County. No dog in this fight, just a curious former (like last century former) Meade County resident.
Sheesh, what a mess. Glad they threw the book at them.
Sidebar...good thing your post was filed in the public land directory. That kind of post title can mean a whole bunch of different things in the innernet of 2022!

I'm still writing up the story for this one, but bottom line up front: My son and I had an absolutely amazing time in the Yukon Territory with Yukon Stone Outfitters on a guided fly-in boat hunt. Junior got a dandy bull with huge shovels and a drop tine. I had a good bull step out in front of me...
Thanks, all. I was able to re-schedule our Denver-Vancouver leg earlier so we should have plenty of time to wrangle customs without a time crunch. My options were 90 minutes or 11 hours. If I can't wrangle customs in 11 hours, there's probably something wrong. Might be asking for half-day...
No small amount of Hill People Gear as well. Me standing and yelling "look at his pack!" probably doesn't make me appear any less crazy to my family. Still cool.
Thanks, all. Flight options were limited so I think I'll be cutting it close. Might have to step up my cardio game.
Oh, just a little jaunt...to hunt moose and grizzly on the back of the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society winning raffle ticket! Yukon Stone Outfitters will be running the show. It'll...
My son and I will be travelling from Denver to Whitehorse, YT through Vancouver in September. I've never travelled outside the U.S. with my firearms. It sounds like we'll be going through customs after landing in Vancouver in order to get the flight to Whitehorse. Has anyone done that same thing...
My answer changes based on how long I have already been in the woods. Days 1-5, no problem, not worth a walk more than to the nearest cover. Days 5-20 I'm definitely more interested in facilities. 20+ and I'd pay folding money for a seat, even if it's ice cold.
When my now grown man son was little, we asked him, one day, why he was picking the sesame seeds off his cheeseburger bun and putting them in his pocket.
"I'm going to plant them and grow a cheeseburger tree!"
