    The Social Dilemma on Netflix

I have stopped almost all social media. I do not watch the news period (as I don't believe it is news, it seems like it is just trying to stir people up, and it's working). I have really enjoyed just being outdoors any chance I get. I really liked the idea of social media because I have lived...

Uncompahgre Plateau poaching case ends with guilty pleas

A story like this seems to almost send a signal to people who are on the edge of being willing to pay for a license. An out of stater might just decide that it's worth the risk. Terrible precedent to set in my opinion.

7mm-08 for elk with 140gr Accubonds

I guess I don't really know how to answer that. I'm really new to reloading and different calibers. I have had the opportunity to shoot out to 400 or 500 yards at elk and bear. So I was just asking. The bullet might not bounce off, but it could certainly lack penetration as I previously stated.

7mm-08 for elk with 140gr Accubonds

Yes but at some point the round will lack the umph to get good penetration. Just like that same arrow shot at 200 yards would fail to get enough penetration, even with correct placement.

    WTB - Mule Deer Cape

I had this same issue with the very first buck I shot. I was 14 or 15 years old and ruined the cape. I kept the head and antlers and the next year I went out and shot a smaller antlered buck with a big neck to somewhat match the antler size. So I have what I consider 2 trophies in one mount...

7mm-08 for elk with 140gr Accubonds

I recently bought a 7mm-08, and was wondering about how good it would be for elk. I took it this year and I'm shooting 150gr ELD-x's, but didn't get the opportunity to shoot one. Do you guys and gals think it would be deadly on elk at distances....say 5 or 600 yards?

Which Is The Best Tasting Critter?

I just got a bear this season. Haven't tried the roast or tenderloin yet, but have eaten the sausage and it is really good. I grew up hearing that bear was horrible, but so far I disagree. I love mule deer and elk. I believe, (not really rocket science I know but....) the way the animal...

    2020 Colorado Rodent Grand Slam

hahaha. If you were on any other website and said you were glassing nipples you might be in a little trouble. I see so many marmots and have always wondered... guess I'll be doing some marmot hunting. Thanks for doing the research and sharing

I would take some of the small rifle primers, and some of the 556 brass. I'm in Durango as well. I would have to give you cash. I have nothing you're looking for, let me know. Thanks

    Hello from Colorado

Hey guys and gals. New to the site. I hunt Elk, Deer, Bear, Mountain Lion and all predators. With all of the other seasons over I am now focused on predators. I really want to kill a Mountain Lion without dogs....I know I know to all of you saying it's not possible. I know it's possible but...
