    Is the price of gas hindering your out-of-state or in-state hunt plans?

    I have a Durango (about 22 mpg interstate) and a Cherokee (about 25 mpg interstate) I'll take on my trips this year. So even with gas prices doubled, I'll still spend a similar amount on fuel as a guy who drove a Tundra or similar last year or the year before. I'm still not happy about it though...

    Just pick a deer and antelope unit with good access and decent random draw odds and have everybody apply separately for buck and doe tags, both species if applicable.     The last 50 lbs or so of my Alaska bear was turned into chili. Drain all the grease before adding your other ingredients. Was as good as any other chili soup I've made.
