    Inexperience in the field is pretty easy to spot. They had trouble operating their rangefinders, binoculars, and their rifles. They probably don't even know party hunting is illegal in Wyoming.

    I got my grinding done last night. This year, I froze my grinding cuts from several animals then later thawed in a cooler and ran it all through the grinder consecutively. By splitting up the work, I think I did a more through job with my trimming. Also only had to clean the grinder once.

    Same, my wife and daughters like wild game. I do my best to remove anything even semi-unpleasant if they're going to eat it, I definitely do not want them turning against venison. My dogs love that stuff also. Even the bones disappear after a few weeks.

    The lesson I learned last year, with all the season date and tag type changes they made in April, is just get the danged application submitted. I'll decide which tag I actually want to try for when I see the final regs.

    Loan for hunting

    I love my wife. I rented a cabin to spend New Years in with her. Cooked her every meal and washed the dishes. Drove her to every store she wanted today. Then got a 10 minute lecture on how I blow my nose wrong on the way back to the cabin. Sometimes a feller needs some time alone in a tent.

    I have open sights, not made of iron though - cheap plastic. I think I understand the intent of the regulation, but it is worded fairly poorly in the rule book.
