    Controversial Recipe Ingredients

Can't stand stuffing. Taking a hard pass on any seafood product out of a can. Wildcat (basically raw hamburger that is popular in Wisco around the holidays).......just do not get it. Olives also suck. My only real vice would be not being able to get up without coffee...completely addicted. Did...

    Case Against R3

There are barriers to entry for many....I think the rebuttal is trying to make a racial issues about something that isn't (or certainly wasn't at all even intended in the original article) The fact is, there is only so much pressure our lakes and public lands can take...what number is the...

    Case Against R3

Haven't found this article posted here yet.........interesting and the first time I have ever read an article from hunting media arguing against R3. I have to say, with how crowded the woods, waters, and campgrounds have been this past year....I am tending to agree with this. Matt Rinella also...

Is the RMEF still silent on proposed legislation?...and why?

Question: Why on the wolf issue RMEF is screaming from the rooftop, but on these other issues they are "supposedly" working behind the scenes........?

HB 505 - Elk Need Your Help

With all of these bills, it seems like the MT legislature and groups like MOGA really don't want my business. I'm a young guy who doesn't make a ton, student loans, etc. It seems like they don't want the common guy, they want the big wig businessman, lawyer, etc. From the outside, it is like the...

    Winter Camping - BWCA

Looks fun, I have never landed a smallmouth through the ice (or at least none that I remember). How much ice is up there?

Wisconsin Wolf kill reaches 50% of statewide quota after first day of season; DNR to close three zones

https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/Fishing/ceded#:~:text=Ceded%20Territory%20in%20northern%20Wisconsin,Tribes%20in%201837%20and%201842. https://data.glifwc.org/ceded/ Much of this has to do with Walleye, but it explains the ceded territory (much of the northern part of the state). There is no...

Wisconsin Wolf kill reaches 50% of statewide quota after first day of season; DNR to close three zones

@NEWHunter The (now) 22 yr old plan was formulated at a time much of the suitable habitat in the state was not yet occupied, so the authors of Act 169's (Reps. Suder and Revard, 2012) insistence of holding to that number (midway between delisting-250 and 500, the perceived biological capacity at...

Wisconsin Wolf kill reaches 50% of statewide quota after first day of season; DNR to close three zones

Proof reading helps, I forgot the word "not"....my bad Regardless, 350 is not the goal, it is a bare minimum. The point is, the wolf season was complete mismanagement and sportsmen would be pissed if it were any species besides wolves. Rushing through seasons, when it was obvious the set-up...

Wisconsin Wolf kill reaches 50% of statewide quota after first day of season; DNR to close three zones

That 350 number that keeps going around is not the population cap......meaning bare minimum, and is by no means a population goal. I still haven't got an answer, what other species, besides wolves, do you want DNR to manage at a bare minimum

Wisconsin Wolf kill reaches 50% of statewide quota after first day of season; DNR to close three zones

I am very familiar with how everything works....I actually live in NW Wisconsin, not Illinois or Brookfield.....

Wisconsin Wolf kill reaches 50% of statewide quota after first day of season; DNR to close three zones

Absolutely, then taking quota reserved for tribes which poses legality issues I am sure

Wisconsin Wolf kill reaches 50% of statewide quota after first day of season; DNR to close three zones

Which is what exactly, science and facts? I guess those are inconvenient truths for some

Wisconsin Wolf kill reaches 50% of statewide quota after first day of season; DNR to close three zones

To say wolves are having major impacts on Wisconsin's deer herd is also bullshit.........although honestly that narrative it helps me out. Keeps the Illinois people out

Wisconsin Wolf kill reaches 50% of statewide quota after first day of season; DNR to close three zones

What other species do hunters (or yourself) want managed at a bare minimum besides wolves? Still looking for an answer........ Also, going over the quota and taking from the tribes quota is a bad look and ONCE AGAIN, if it were ANY other species besides wolves you would not be happy.

Wisconsin Wolf kill reaches 50% of statewide quota after first day of season; DNR to close three zones

The issue is that we took quota reserved for the tribes, it is a bad look and something that will end poorly for hunters. Lots of barstool biology studies

Wisconsin Wolf kill reaches 50% of statewide quota after first day of season; DNR to close three zones

Paul's article was 100% factual. Nothing editorial about it, perhaps you just don't much like the inconvenient truths

Wisconsin Wolf kill reaches 50% of statewide quota after first day of season; DNR to close three zones

The non-tribal quota was 119....you are only happy they got it right because we went over the quota and you have a bias against wolves. If we go over the quota for any other species in this state sportsman are not happy. What other species do we expect DNR to manage at a bare minimum? Zero...
