I am very fortunate to have a amazing home to display mounts now (very open log home). Work has me moving so looking for a new play in Wyoming has been a chore. I think Buzz has the right idea with building and 10 ft ceilings in the basement.
I have a cabelas Alaskan pack and a Sitka bivy 45 I would be willing to sell. Shoot me a PM and I can send you photos and figure out what I want for them. The Alaskan has packed out one elk and the Sitka a bear.
I have a pair of 15x56 Leica Geovids that I would like to sell. I love the 15 powers and love the rangefinder but I want to upgrade to the new model with the ballistic computer. I can send photos via text or email. $1800 obo.
Wow, I haven't looked at the photos on this thread in awhile. There are some awesome bucks you will have to choose from Randy. I like the big mountain buck you found. That one would have a target if it were my tag.
Thanks guys! Julie's bear is at the tannery. She is still looking at poses and will make a decision when they get the measurements back for the tanned hide. It is going to sit on the opposite wall next to the fireplace.
I am happy to have received my completed bear mount this week from the taxidermist. Thank you to the guys on the 2014 HT spring Bear hunt for making this trophy a reality!!
Thankfully my taxidermist was able to finish this project after his near death experience. I am glad he is back in good...
I have a pair of Leica geovids that were worth every penny. I would suggest buying as high of quality glass as you can afford. That being said if your going to stay under 1000$ I would seriously look at vortex as it has the best warranty on the market.
