    Thanks for all the input. I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY so know the snow and did 2 years at Offutt AFB in NE so know the cold. For Nov - Feb I'll be down in FL but will come back for a week or two of hunting.

    Help Me Pick a Fish Finder

    I have a Garmin echoMAP 74sv with side-scan sonar. The resolution on mine isn’t that great so it’s more of a novelty. The other two modes are great though. Nice large screen, and with NMEA 2000 I can tie my engine into it as well.
