Finally got to work on a personal trophy
Had fun working on this one...even attempted my first scab recreation under his chin since it was too big to cut out and sew. Need to finish the habitat but I think I'll just look at him for a while first 😁- redwoood

It's the way the eye lids are positioned not the glass. As you said if it a personal preference as deer can do almost anything with their eyes. I prefer softer more relaxed eyes. Just makes for a more natural looking mount IMO. But, different forms look more natural with more alert eye sets.- redwoood
