Kansas hunting atlas hard copy???
First Merry Christmas everyone. Does kansas still put out a hard copy of the fall hunting atlas with all of the WIHA's in it? I can't find a link online to have one mailed. I know they have the maps online but I like the hard copy for research purposes. Thanks.- redwoood

What I learned about CWD after 17 years of direct involvement
They've been killing them here in MO too in areas with positives. In some cases they bait them... kinda ironic eh. I am no expert on the subject but killing a pile of deer to hopefully save a few deer from being killed by a disease never made much sense to me.- redwoood

Eldx issues
I shot my muley last week with a 200 grain eldx out of my 300 wm. He had me pegged so I took a frontal shot at 234 yards. I found my bullet and it had separated BUT he dropped where he stood, had a good size hole through the base of his neck, and 1 lung was jelly. Dead is dead so I am not too...- redwoood

I am a taxidermist so I caped him out...he did have a pretty cape that I will keep. I'm kinda thinking I'll euro him just because the club is much more pronounced with the cape off of the skull. BUT we'll see -

Opening morning. 8 bucks and countless does. Saw his good side from a mile+ and made a move. Thought he was broke off once we got close and decided to pass. Then he turned and I saw the club. Bang flop first muley. Super happy. -
