Long-range Muzzleloaders
Aperture/peeps and a 6 o’clock hold help. I’d be confident on a moose/elk at 150 with my encore w/ skinner rear sight and 100 on a deer with same setup. A v notch hawken id subtract 10-20 yards.- 338win

Polaris Ranger/Honda Pioneer what is enough?
If you want strictly a utility/hunting rig the pioneer 700 can’t be beat if it’s the 3speed AT with locker. It tops out at 44/45 but geared perfectly for what I like doing. Bow hunters are great at driving elk to private land and wounding animals. If archery has no impact, Colorado wouldn’t be cutting tags and wy might have more seasons. Watched a show a few days ago. 600+ yards. Elk clearly reacts like it’s hit then walks off. Dude says he missed and didn’t hit walk across the valley to look for blood.- 338win

Yeah because it’s impossible to see a dial turret with index marks and numbers exposed on top of the scope. It’s easier than checking someone’s license and way easier than checking legal muzzleloader bullets. -
