Definitely not another "Caliber Thread" 😬
Based on what you already have I would do a 6mm of some sort for the versatility, I love the 243. Do you reload? if so and you go 257, I would do a 257 ackley, my old man bought one off a friend last year and I have been tinkering and reloading for it. Fun to shoot and fast. -

I'm no help with the 150 but I use a lot of barnes bullets in a variety of calibers. In general, you want to shoot a barnes mono that is about 20% lighter than the standard weight cup and core bullet for the caliber. I don't know how they can, my wife and I have good paying jobs and building our house for 250k 8 years ago was hard to swallow. Now its worth over 500k, no way would I be willing to take on a mortgage like that.- MT_Chad

Steve, I grew up on the eastern side of the state and since high school have lived in most of the towns you are interested in. I've been in Helena for 9, was in Missoula for 4, Butte for 5, and bozeman for one terrible summer. Honestly, to each their own, but no way would I live in Bozeman...- MT_Chad

Lift tickets well north of 100 bucks a day and beyond crowded. I hate dealing with crowds though..... I've never been to Vail but I've spent time in Park City, Big Sky feels a lot like Park City these days. Now the free cookies a guy could get behind!- MT_Chad

Tent advice
I would also consider an ARB awning on the trailer with the side walls. You wouldn't want it with snow considering the flat roof, but otherwise would be a pretty good alternative.- MT_Chad

Midway has primers
If standard cci 209s will work for you I have 200 you can have if you make it up to helena. For some reason I still have them laying around from when I reloaded shotgun shells, so I have no use for them.- MT_Chad
