    85% Let-off and Colorado

The Hoyt’s are all available with 80%, and 75% mods. I’ve changed my Hoyt’s to 80% mods strictly because I don’t like the feel of the higher let off.

    Idaho website purchases

They have been having all sorts of issues since they went on sale last night. Lots of guys getting most of the way through the process and then they had it crash on them. They probably shut it down on purpose.

    Female Hunter Getting Death Threats

Insta-famous is a term that comes to mind.... Anyone that frequents Instagram knows that there are a million other scantily clad women looking at cashing in on the hunting industry.

    home archery shop?

I have a complete pro shop setup in my basement and do all my own work and I do bow setups/tunes for friends and anyone that asks. It wasn’t cheap to have everything, but I’m glad I did as in the long run if you do a lot of bow tinkering like myself then it’s worth it IMO. Just this past...

What release were you shooting previously? Could be simply the difference in length from your old to new release that’s throwing you off.

Field & Stream stores purchased by Sportsman’s Warehouse

I'm curious as to how they'll deal with the Field & Stream branded items that they carry in the store? More than half of the inventory in them are Field & Stream branded. I haven't heard anything if Dick's actually sold them the brand name as well?

    Morning sit or afternoon sit?

Afternoons for sure. Tomorrow’s our opening day here in New York and I’m passing on going out in the morning and opting for an afternoon sit instead.

    Hoyt Nitrux?

I miss my old Carbon Defiant 34. Was one of my favorite offerings from Hoyt and I've had a bunch of them. You can pick up a nice one for under $600 if you shop around.

What does crowded mean when hunting out west

I'm guessing that's because deer hunting in New York's northern zone (Adirondacks) is some of the toughest deer hunting you'll find. More than likely all the hunters come down to the southern zone to hunt. You want crowded, come check out the southern zone during firearms season. Better get...

    Pellet Grill/Smoker

Mine is 592 square inch’s and will fit an entire large full size brisket without any issue. Never had wanted one any bigger even when cooking for large groups.

    What truck-Family

Extended cab was a no-go for me when we had our kids. I had a pristine 2004.5 Chevy 2500HD Duramax and had to get something different because the infant car seat just would not work when it was rearward facing. The new trucks might have more room than mine did so I'm not sure if they might work...

    Pellet Grill/Smoker

I've had Rec Tec now for a few years and love it. It's stupid easy to use, and have never had any issues with it. Their technology was far in advance of any of the other grills until Traeger just updated their grills this past year. Still the best pellet grill on the market IMO other than the...
