Top cam should lean just enough so that if you put an arrow on the left side of the cam it will cross the string at the D-loop. Center shot should be 13/16" like you have it.
At least that's where all of the ones I've tuned have been or really close to that.
I wonder if other states will follow suit?
It'll be interesting to see what Kansas does with their early archery season firing up next week.
So if you bought a license previously then your good to go then at least.
Have you been to the county Clerk‘s Office or Recorder to search for the easement and if one was recorded? That would solve all your problems if you could get your hands on one. It’s also an option to hire a local abstract or title insurance company to search for one for a small fee. If you...
It’s gonna be a tough business to be in for a while is new car sales. Can’t imagine theres too many flying off the lots. Although I have seen some pretty killer deals on new trucks. I‘d never buy a brand new truck and would buy like Randy did which was semi-used. I’ve always let somebody else...
Unfortunately that is not the case when it comes to an easement by prescription and/or adverse possession requirements. Statutory time frame is most definitely a factor.
If the gate is up for its statutory time frame and it's not contested by anyone then it will be virtually impossible to rule...
The problem with this situation is that they gated the road so a prescriptive easement is not likely. One of the requirements of a prescriptive easement/adverse possession is that it needs to be continuous and uninterrupted. By them simply gating the road puts a kibosh to an easement by...
If it is in fact a public Road then there won’t be any easement in place for access because none would be needed.
Do you have the deed for the landowner that put the gate up? The wording of the road, if any, in their deed will be one of the most important factors of all and might even...
The NSPS didn’t get anything in writing yet but our local state Professional Land Surveyors association got something from our governor stating that land surveyors are essential because we are tied to the banks because of mortgages and or closings. Our supporting staff is not essential though.
Yep, still working in the office.
Somehow my profession of Land Surveying was deemed "essential" by our governor so for now I'm stuck going to the office.
I’m about halfway through the two slick head whitetails from last year. Plus we bought half of a cow last fall as well. We roughly have 100lbs of venison, and 200lbs of burger left still. Plus we have two dozen Kansas pheasants in there that I just remembered about.
I figure if the TP holds out...
Yep, just bought 20.6 acres of ground that borders my place today.
Much smarter investment right now especially considering I paid around $1k an acre for it.
You know he’s gotta be a special kind of scumbag when two of his own guys throw him under the wheels...ala Chris Brackett. Not only is the baiting thing a bad deal, but leaving the deer to rot is super D-bag like. Shows that he’s doing it for all the wrong reasons.
FWIW over on...
I’ve been running Husqvarna’s of some sort for the past 25 years or so and don’t have any complaints.
Currently I have a 346xp with a 20” bar and it works well for what I need it for being that it is labeled as a pro series saw. Now that I’m older and I know better I don’t cut firewood for my...
I used to do quite a bit of bear hunting near Forestport in unit 6J and although we did have some success it is very difficult hunting in the big timber. Lots of bears up there but the large tracts of contiguous wooded timber makes it very difficult to get on bears.
I have the exact same truck for my snow plow rig other than mine has cab lights and huge rust holes. Gotta love the northeast for rusting out vehicles. Wish our vehicles stayed as rust free as you guys in the western states.
If you’ve ever been stuck and tried to get out with the traction control on that’s why.
One of my complaints about most half ton pickups is you need to jump through hoops to actually turn it off. Traction control is great if you stay on the hard slab but if you actually do take your truck off...
