I gave up all my hobbies other than hunting when I had these two things. Used to golf quite a bit and rode enduro for a while, but now these two take up all of my time. I still have golf clubs but I sold all my enduro bikes as they were collecting dust.
I’ve had a Recteq pellet grill for 4 years now and love the thing. Could never go back to solely having a propane grill although I still use my Weber from time to time.
Like others have mentioned, everything just tastes better on a pellet grill. You’d be crazy to not go with a pellet grill IMHO.
Depends on how much you shoot and what material you use.
if you start to see wear on it, then it’s best to change it out unless you like to punch yourself in the teeth.
I typically change mine out twice a year but I shoot quite a bit.
Anyone know where a list of the lucky sum Guns that got tags is at?
They aren’t updating everyone’s online accounts until Monday sometime so mine just says “pending”.
I picked up this Leer cap a few years ago used for $150. I couldn’t bring myself to buy one for $2k but I didn’t think I did too bad. I did have to replace the locks though as they were seized up But have had good luck with it otherwise.
You aren’t the first person to tell me that I was crazy for passing up that gnarly looking first buck that came in to the decoy. I actually passed him up 15 minutes into my first day out there. Reason being was I saw a giant that was even bigger than the one I shot the evening I got there and...
I’m guessing you haven’t shot a PSE from the last 2-3 years that have an Evolve cam on it? If you had, you‘d probably have Vortex and Swarovski reversed.
FWIW the Drury’s wanted to stay with PSE, but they didn‘t renew their contract so Mathews picked them up.
The easy answer to how much it will cost to have a new home built is to take the total material cost and double it. You’ll be very close to a final cost. Most people aren’t able to come up with this number but if your doing a small basic home it’s fairly simple. Same thing goes for outbuildings...
Spartan is one of the favorite cell cams out right now. Not the cheapest though.
Browning has a new model this year that is supposed to be pretty nice as well.
Tactacam also just release a Reveal cell can that is only $99 that has been well received as well.
Good God that's a beautiful setup for a hunting cabin!
You planning on renting this out in the future, or just for this year when you don't have a tag?
I use OnX multiple times a day in my profession as a Professional Land Surveyor. It works very well and I have yet to find something about it that I do not like.
With that being said, if Gohunt would add all States and a land ownership layer I would probably try it out simply because they would...
The Morrell Outdoor Range Target is what I use and recommend.
I just bought a new one last week because my old one was shot out but I did get about ten years of life out of it. Not bad for $120 target.
I’m glad that my Kansas whitetail archery trip is planned for after November 4th when COVID will be magically gone.
Seriously though, I would be super pissed if they do instate a mandatory 14 day quarantine instead of cancelling NR hunting and refunding everyone their money.
