    Antelope/Muley Hunt

Why is everyone saying to do both in this thread (which is the answer I wanted to hear) but in another thread a few pages back, they are saying just stick to antelope. Just difference in opinions? Thread I am referencing https://www.hunttalk.com/threads/antelope-and-deer.285969/

    Vortex Diamondback vs. Viper

So I am no expert on binoculars but know a little about them. I am wondering if the 280$ price difference between the Vortex 10x42 Diamondbacks and the 10x42 Vipers is worth it. I know everyone says buy the best glass you can buy, but is there a real noticable difference between these?

    Camping

Good information everyone. It's intimidating to plan on camping on blm going in blind and most camp grounds are first come first serve

    Camping

Does anyone camp in a camper for an antelope hunt? I only see forums talking about tent camping. I'm strictly talking about on blm or a designated campground not on private. Just wondering if hauling a camper 600 plus miles is a waste of fuel and worry of something else that could go wrong. It...

    Antelope/Muley Hunt

Good to know guys. Do you guys look for an area that has some BLM low prairie sage areas and then has some foot hill areas for muleys? Or do you find them roamimg together?

4 Canadian wolves air-dropped in US national park to deal with moose

I dont understand why they don't give out tags. They shut down the moose season on the main land due to low population then they release wolfs onto an island to get rid of to many moose.....wonder what it getting the moose on the main land.....

    Antelope/Muley Hunt

I've been looking back at previous post and it seems like its 50/50 on if a newbie should double up on species on a hunting trip. I read post saying antelope are one of the easier western game species to hunt, so I worry if I were to take a week trip and shoot an antelope on the 2nd day, what do...

    Acquiring points for youth

Do youth points carry over past the age of 18? Lets say you start buying WY elk points when they are 12, when they apply for an elk hunt at age 20, will they still have 8 pts or just 2?

    Quit hunting

I know a people on a hunting forum will probably not understand why people quit hunting, but thats why I am asking. Recently more and more family and friends have quit or limited their hunting quite a bit and it puzzles me. Some say age, others say no where to go, some only go hunting at the...

    Public land rules

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but is there a site that has all the public land rules? BLM, foreat service, state of Montana, state of Colorado, etc? Is it legal to camp anywhere on BLM land? From what i see it appears so, but cant find any concrete rules, just more hear...

    Mule deer habitat

I am a mule deer newbie but have hunted plenty of whitetails. Do mulies hang around areas with no trees? I am looking at a area and it looks more like antelope county and guessing the only areas mule deer would be would be in the steeper draws and not the rolling hills where they could be easily...

Using a fish house as a tent?

That was my two concerns, rain and wind. I figured really good stake down but not 100% sure on the rain/snow. The fabric is water resistant but i wouldn't say water proof. Would you drape a big tarp over top right away at camp set up or wait to see what the forcast brings?
