Colorado fishing tackle advise
I'm planning an elk scouting trip to CO this summer & would like to do some fishing as well while I'm there. I'm not a fly fisherman, only shinning reels for me. Looking to fish streams for cut throats or other species in the streams or mountain lakes. Any advise on lures would be appreciated...- bradr

Who else is running heavy/high FOC?
There's some really good vids on heavy arrow building/tuning. Check out Ranch Fairy on youtube. Or grizzly stik. I just got done building a dozen Gold Tip hunter xt's. 555 grains total weight, 16% Foc. Using 100 gr brass insert and will be using the 125 gr Strickland Helix. I shot the bare... -

Curious. I've heard guys say several times "there's an outfitter in there" when they talk about certain units. Does this mean that you recommend not going in there because of the outfitter, or just giving him a heads up that there will be someone else hunting in that area? -

Boots with wide toe boxes
I have a very wide foot also. Just got my Crispi Nevada’s yesterday. I wear an 11.5 EE in about everything. The fit in my Nevada’s is spot on. The width is great, with plenty of room in the toe box. Very comfortable outa the box.- bradr
