MT Thunder Chicken smackdown
The Idaho turkey season doesn't open until the 15th so I went Montana for some thunder chicken fun. We had a great opening day with all three of us filling our two tags each. I got lucky and Scotch doubled my two Gobblers. One was defiantly a Big Hank with 5 beards. Can wait for Thursday to get...- IDHUNTNFISH

Thank you. They last few years the run has been way down but seems to be back this year. Plus the average is on the bigger side. 36"-40" 16-21lbs. I've never steelhead fished OR but I've always wanted to try a costal river. Someday!- IDHUNTNFISH

No there are not. They average 32-38" The big wild hen was 40". It's actually primetime in ID right now.- IDHUNTNFISH

Alaska Moose Drop Camp recommendations
A buddy and I went with Renfro's in 2019. My ex father-in-law went with them twice before that. They are a first class operation. You would have the trip of a lifetime. If your only going to do it once do it right.- IDHUNTNFISH
