Bitterbrush, winterfat, service berry and mahogany are all great for wintering deer. Are you using seeds or starts? Depending on the existing plant community removing competition around the planted area can have a significant benefit.
Hey guys and gals I drew a spring bear tag in Utah and wandering what are some questions that would be good to discuss with the area bio.
Its no bait but dogs allowed. I have some "friend of a friend" dog connections but spot and stalk will be the strategy.

Utah has harvest objective bear units. Super low success rate but at least your out and learning.
Or could hit a better OTC option like Idaho or Montana
Lots of birds around. I'd personally drive up to cache County and hunt a little "further" in than just above bountiful.
