Killed? Probably even seen an elk...
It's like $5 a can. I'm only commenting because I don't get to hunt DL&L and charge dudes $5 a can for what's probably just a watered down red bull.
Congrats to your daughter on pulling the tag.
You'll be hunting the same units that have unlimited archery tags and the first few days of your hunt is still archery season.
Additional units were added this year.
FYI Utah also passed a law that requires going to check for blood after a shot...
Last year the AI tag was purchased and donated to a wounded veteran. Not sure if Jimmy John will do the same.
Would the AZ deer tag fetch the same price at another venue?
Front bumper and open range cows.
Truly enjoy mtn man history and survival scenarios. Boys and I even did the porcupine thing this winter.
But if I ever was in a real survival situation or needed meat for the family table it wouldn't be a deer or elk...
What's your budget and how much weight are you willing to pack?
Do you already have a sufficient tripod and head?
There is a vast difference between a vortex scope/tripod and a swarovski on a really right stuff.
Bummer on not finding the elk. It happens.
I have to say I commend you for sharing your story and caring about the whole deal. Seems that there is way to much "oh well" when this happens.
You will be enjoying elk backstrap after your next tag.
I am not seeing the range radius feature when I swipe up on a waypoint. I see the wind direction box but nothing below it.
App is updated with most recent update being 10/12.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Wife and I got out for elk.
Critical to the mission was having grandma come down to watch the kids.
We got camp set up about 10pm and set the alarm for the next morning.
Daylight found us on a vantage point looking over a large drainage but didn't turn up any elk. Did have another hunter moving...
