Pop's WY Elk
My dad brought me up hunting and fishing. It was one of his greatest passions. He is 83 and has dementia and has not been able to hunt for more than 10 years. I so wish I could get out with him one more time. -

I have had a lot of luck still hunting timber 10am-2pm. I took my largest bull this way late morning. I usually sit till about 9 and then start walking areas I know hold elk. Most are still moving around and I have found elk will feed almost all day. I just move slow and keep walking you... -

I have been reading him for sometime and just can't get enough. I guess what I like the most is that almost everywhere he writes about in his stories I have been there and know of. My minds knows all those places already. It great- Lab

I grew up and spent my life in Colorado. I just moved 3 years ago to Kentucky! Cost of living is one of lowest in country. Coming from Colorado I was able to pretty much pay cash. I live in a town of 70k people with a mid major university. Tons of bars and restaurants, great schools...- Lab

Oregon is the bomb! I took a long trip out there one summer and all my friends said get ready for tree huger nation! I was shocked at atv, American flag flying, deer/elk heads on every wall and business, etc... It was amazed. I would have moved to Banden in a heart beat if I could!- Lab

Grew up Northern Front range. I 100% agree. I left for love 3 years ago after 50 years but I'll never go back and I planned on Wyoming or Northern New Mexico once I retired. Colorado has changed for the worse!- Lab
