I’ll be off chasing Shiras in NW MT this year in a different environment to what I’m used to seeing moose in - less riparian habitat and more regenerating clearcuts. Will let you know what I see out there!- Orion’s Breath

My understanding is that Shiras moose more often focus on riparian browse species like willow around water, rather than aquatic vegetation. Improved Euro Mount technique
Has anyone tried using a sous vide device to get all the flesh and connective tissue off? I saw a video WGFD posted using one but I’ve not come across the method otherwise. Will definitely try that ammonia/acetone this year - that sounds great!- Orion’s Breath
