You literally asked a question that implied that they are self governed. I tried to point out how the agency and its director are accountable to the governor.
The NDGF has a director that is appointed by the governor and reports directly to him. If you don't like how the NDGF is operating and feel the director of the department isn't listening to the residents of the state, put pressure on the governor. A governor doesn't want to receive static from...
Baiting aside, having a legislative body write laws to regulate the NDGF is setting a very bad precedent. Mark my words, this is not going to lead to better hunting, fishing, and wildlife management in ND.
A task force made up of elected officials with varying backgrounds are going to make...
I've been trying to decide between the Supreme and the Match Master from RCBS. After reading way to many reviews I've decided to hand throw until I save enough for the SuperTrickler. Too many people saying their RCBS products only lasted a year or two.
I think what Brock has done a good job illustrating is the importance of the peer review process in scientific literature and publication. I can remember "scientific breakthroughs" in various fields of research that when put under the microscope of peer review, the data was determined...
I encourage you to hang out here more often. I've yet to find another forum with as many people actively engaged in hunting and the outdoors as this forum. Many of the members have made their passion for the outdoors a career and are extremely knowledgeable on topics relating to wildlife and...
The reason that portions of the state are open and portions are closed was imo explained very well by Dr. Bahnson on Randy's recent podcast. While I think a complete baiting ban within the state would be optimal, I did appreciate the consideration the NDGF has taken to minimize the impacts on...
This bill should surprise no one. Baiting deer in ND is seen as being as much of a birthright as shooting mule deer in MT on Thanksgiving. Gonna be an uphill battle to defeat this bill.
I'm expecting the next ND legislative session to be interesting. People like Captain UOA aren't going to take baiting bans lying down. Lots of "chatter" about limiting NDGF authority being "needed."
Keep up the good work, Brock! (y)
Sounds like a great excuse to buy a couple more suppressors! :);)
All my suppressors are direct thread and the POI does not change if the suppressor is removed, shot on another rifle, then reinstalled on the original. The POI with the suppressor on vs off does change and is a bit different for...
