Bozarth is part of the Yolo, which allows access but is walk in only in most areas. There are other parts of the ranch that are much more hiking friendly. -

Here are the pics. As you can see there is a gap between the "belt" clip and the rangefinder. Thats not normally there but I have taken this off and on about 20 times today and got a little bowed in the process. Normally it is flush up against it. Thats very similar to what I used, except it cost me $4 on ebay. I found that this being used by itself didnt work for me. As you walk along or shift around while sitting, the rangefinder swings and flops around, thats what the clip is for. The clip is atached with a bolt where the tripod goes...- sturge

I made a little clip for my rangefinder that allows it to clip on my shirt pocket or pack. It can use 2 different types of clips, belt type clip or an alligator type. Also has a spring loaded teather so if it slips off, it wont hit the ground, and also after I range something I can let it go and...- sturge

Exactly. Although the same has been attempted here, daily decisions on the management of our resources here are still left to the experts instead of emotional driven groups and politicians, and thank god for that. -

Let me say this too though. None of the necessary permits etc. have even been applied for. So, maybe the owners are not being completely truthful in regards to the solar project.
