Disappointing to read this when you're hunting in the same vicinity and trying hard to find a single elk that I would actually like to recover. Hope they find the perpetrators who did this.
Slick move indeed and congratulations.
If your new hunting partner eagerly field dressed your antelope, perhaps she, uh, should tag along on your next outdoor excursion too...
there is a toggle button on there to take you to a page to review any items you’ve already purchased for this license year. Should show you if you’ve already purchased one, perhaps.
Perhaps it's just me that is getting lost in the minutia, but I would like to ask a dumb question so I can better assess what is being "given up" from the status quo and the elements being negotiated as part of the proposed swap. I don't believe I've been to this particular access area, so...
Does the application of any of this vary in considering raw land (with the intent to build) for a second property vs. a primary residence? Have been casually looking for raw land where I'd like to put up a cabin but have been struggling to find clear guidance on the financing options available...
Make the time and effort to shop around. In the process of closing a refinance at 2.25 for 15 years. The delta on rates between institutions was as much as a full percent. Took a few weeks of calling around and asking questions, but pays to be patient and find the right lender to go with.
Unfortunately, most registered voters can’t be bothered to do their due diligence on candidates and what their policy stances are to make educated voting decisions and instead go off notoriety or whomever spends the money to run TV ads. That appears to be borne out by the early election results...
Not sure if this link is viewable to non newspaper subscribers, but this felt topical given the discussion I read above about White. This was in this morning's paper...
I can't tell if this is a COVID-19 economics joke or an intuitive auto-correct from Quantitative Easing...
Either way, rates were sub-three percent when I called my existing mortgage consultant today to inquire about refinancing.
I would like to see two clear objectives met: a more fair and convenient reservation system than Type II BMAs and stronger hunter-BMA landowner relationships.
An online system to reserve access on specific BMAs would increase convenience and decrease overhead for hunters and landowners and...
So, can I check my understanding on the last point raised in the article - harvest information I voluntarily self-report to FWP during post-season surveys may also be subject to public records requests?
I also have reservations about some of the "best data" coming from optional hunter...
Quick reminder to those who have interest and have not done so already that Monday is the deadline for comment submission on MTFWP proposals for the upcoming season.
Conveniently left out of the article, huh? I don't have an issue with him outfitting bull/cow hunts during general - his property, his prerogative. But shoulder seasons were authorized as a privilege, not a right. Feels misguided to moan to the Chronicle in the name of population...
It is difficult to hone in on just a single, salient point from this sparsely sourced article, but seems the landowner is concerned that the post-general season mop up hunts he has grown accustomed to over the past few years will impact the ability to control cow numbers.
I find it telling...
Article in the paper here regarding proposed changes - or lack of changes - to shoulder seasons from MTFWP.

Are there ways to reverse engineer potential access by finding previous BMA participants who elected to no longer continue participating in the program? Yes, some of these ranches may have changed hands or the individual contacts changed, but curious if outreach to these folks can be used to...
+1. There seem to be willing landowners and public land hunters interested in this type of mutually beneficial collaboration, but I think more facilitation and awareness - informally or from groups such as RMEF - could help bring these parties together to unlock more access. Certainly there's no...
