Some dork forgot the graph and downrigger balls, but it was a pretty view at least. Glad it was intended as more of a couple hour scouting trip than a whole fishing weekend!
Something I didn't take into account, that's for sure. It takes us just a couple minutes to load or unload, but we often spend 10x that waiting for others to figure out what they're doing.
Just yesterday we spent almost 30 minutes waiting on a boat tied perpendicular to the ramp with no owner...
As Bigjay said, here in Colorado. They're one of my favorite fish to catch, but we are very bad at catching them intentionally. 😅
Thanks! It's got just about everything I could have wanted, yet still easy to handle by myself.
Another fish pic from the trip, cause it's a fishing thread!
Spent most of a week camping with the "new" boat. 3 days at each of 2 lakes, with a wide variety of species: walleye, wiper, smallmouth, carp, rainbows, browns, lakers and kokanee.
It will be interesting to see how they divide the current otc units into LE for NR. They have the fall gamut to choose from unit specific, to regional to a single LE permit that covers all the otc units.
The joys of the North Platte nowadays.
Sorry for the derail :D I just did my first guided drift trip up there as a buddy had someone cancel on his party. Being like the 60th boat to float through that morning felt absurd. Those poor fish.
To the OP, more meding less casting!
Always fun in the middle of a pronghorn stalk when you snuggle up to one of these.
Edit: I see others beat me to it, that's what I get for not reading all the posts first 😃

Took the new boat on its first camping trip. Weather was rough the first day but we still got out for a few hours and caught a dozen or so. Monday was great though.
